Before launching programs, we wanted to understand what mattered most to the Round Valley community. In the spring of 2026, 154 neighbors shared their hopes, priorities, dreams, and ideas through our bilingual Community Pulse Survey. Their voices are helping shape the future of Seeds of Power in the Covelo community.

Insights from the survey's written responses

Nature Matters

Many respondents described nature as a place of joy, healing, learning, and connection. Parks, rivers, gardens, forests, and outdoor experiences were repeatedly mentioned as places where people feel their best.

Relationships Matter

Again and again, people spoke about family, friendship, volunteering, and spending meaningful time together. Community wasn't just expressed as a place—it was something people wanted to strengthen.

Creativity Builds Community

Art, music, storytelling, culture, and creative expression were seen as powerful ways to bring people together while celebrating the unique identity of our community.
