Seeds of Power is growing. Guided by the voices of our community, we’re turning ideas into action through volunteer projects, community stewardship, creative experiences, and opportunities for connection.
Some projects are already taking root through cleanups, trail stewardship, and local collaboration. Others are still in development as we continue listening, learning, and growing together.
We’d love for you to grow with us.
Biggar Ln. Community Cleanup
September 20, 2026
Biggar Ln. is looking so much better!
Thank you to everyone who came out and helped with our community cleanup. In just a few hours, volunteers made a visible difference along the road while spending the morning working together and caring for a shared community space.
Many hands really do make light work.
Asa Bean Trail Cleanup - August 2026 - Yolla Bolly Wilderness
Seeds of Power recently hosted a successful volunteer trail cleanup on the Asa Bean Trail in the Yolla Bolly–Middle Eel Wilderness. Community members came together for a weekend of camping, trail work, and connection while helping clear brush and improve access along the trail. It was a beautiful example of people caring for a place they love, working side by side, and building momentum for future stewardship efforts in the Yolla Bolly.
October 2026
For years, this beloved community tradition has been organized through the personal efforts of our founder, bringing neighbors together to brighten downtown Covelo for the holiday season. Beginning in 2026, Seeds of Power is honored to house this tradition and help it continue to grow.
Whether you're hanging lights, decorating trees, donating towards supplies, or simply sharing a cup of hot cocoa, we'd love for you to be part of it.
Fall 2026
We're excited to be exploring a partnership with The Bigfoot Alliance to host volunteer trail stewardship days on the beautiful Traveler's Home Trail, located about 25 minutes from Round Valley.
This project is still in the planning stages, but we're hopeful it will bring community members together to care for a local trail while enjoying time outdoors, learning stewardship skills, and connecting with one another.
Stay tuned for dates and details—we'd love to have you join us if it comes together!
